The 17th Arrondissement is a quiet, leafy residential part of the capital with a charmingly bohemian feel. Thanks to the café culture and plentiful live venues, you'll hear some of the city's best jazz performances. Fine dining restaurants are on every street, introducing you to the traditional nuances of French cuisine. Galleries display classical art alongside up-and-coming talent, making the neighbourhood vibrant and lively. From the 19th-century grandeur of the Place de Clichy to the shaded walks of the pretty Parc Monceau, the 17th has plenty to offer the discerning traveller.
Despite its serene setting, Rue Fourcroy is just minutes away from the Arc de Triomphe and the high-end boutiques of the Champs-Élysées. The interior of this family-friendly home is filled with interesting features, from the striking sculpture and bold artwork to the pops of colour on the plush living room furnishings. A clever use of signature mural wallpaper balanced with whites and teal blue gives the interior a fresh, unique feel. The dining area floods with natural light from the large windows, and the sleek, thoughtfully laid-out kitchen includes every appliance guests need.
The main bedroom has a cosy queen-size bed, as does the second bedroom, with its unusual alcove surround and built-in storage. The third bedroom is ideal for younger guests, with two single beds available. The ensuites are beautifully finished to a very high standard, with walk-in showers and light décor. Rue Fourcroy benefits from a fabulous location that's nestled in a quiet corner of one of Paris' most desirable neighbourhoods.
