Less than fifteen kilometres west of Jamaica's vibrant second city, Montego Bay, Serenity on the Beach is a four-bedroom villa that can sleep up to eight guests and boasts an unbeatable beachfront location. Surrounded by lush vegetation, guests can enjoy the peaceful sound of the Caribbean lapping at the sandy shore in absolute privacy.

With Montego Bay just a short drive away, guests have a host of urban attractions to explore. From the excellent National Museum West, which details this half of the island's fascinating history, to local's favourite, Doctor's Cave Beach, and the brilliant Montego Bay Marine Park, there is plenty to see and do. Picturesque beaches line this part of the coast, and approximately 100 yards offshore and easily accessed via kayak is Holden's Reef, home to a dazzling array of tropical fish and colourful coral.

Inspired by traditional Caribbean design and colonial-era architecture, Serenity on the Beach features high cedar ceilings and octagonal rooms with cool marble flooring. A contemporary kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances and a large kitchen island connects to the living space with inviting sofa seating and slatted doors that open onto the terrace.

All bedrooms feature king-size beds, though these can be swapped out for two twins in two of the rooms. The master suite is secluded at the end of the villa and benefits from a wonderful ensuite and a private outdoor jungle shower. The remaining rooms also contain indulgent ensuites and terrace access. Bedrooms three and four connect doors and can share a second jungle shower, making them well-suited to families.

A covered, marble-floored terrace runs the length of the villa and connects all four bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private sitting area ideal for shaded, post-lunch siestas, and the veranda culminates in the pool terrace, where a dinner table can be set for refreshing evening drinks and starlit dinners. The pool itself is a fantastic alternative to the temperate Caribbean waters. The villa shares a basketball hoop and private tennis court with the next villa, and all the equipment required to play is made available to guests. Serenity on the Beach is an unforgettable beachside destination for families and groups of friends, making for a dream Caribbean holiday experience.
