Rattan furniture, distinctive vaulted ceilings, cream travertine and sumptuous wood finishings bring island warmth to the villa’s spacious, airy interiors. The tropical landscaping outside is abundant in Southeast Asian influences, from the Indonesian river pebbles to the Thai pavilion, hidden away in the lower end of the garden for an extra taste of tranquillity.

Amandara offers a plethora of ways to spend your afternoons; show off your skills at the table tennis table or bocce court, work up a sweat in a game of volleyball, or teach your young ones how to play your favourite board games. The bustling French capital of Marigot is only a short drive away, where you can explore the lively Marigot Market and dine like kings at the local restaurants. Of course, if you prefer a peaceful evening in, the villa’s chef can cook you up a delectable feast for you to enjoy al fresco under the teak pergola, a cool glass of wine in hand, before retreating to your outdoor bathroom (think sumptuous freestanding bathtub and luxurious rain shower situated beneath the stars) for a decadent moonlit soak.
