You'll find a fascinating cuisine on offer: spicy Caribbean Creole meets the classic technique of France in punchy, flavoursome dishes with fresh red snapper and mahi mahi a speciality. For those who love the outdoors, the French side of St Martin is one of the best places in the Caribbean for windsurfing and kite-surfing.
The bright white exterior of Villa Vogue Art is balanced by a light and airy interior that immediately feels welcoming and comfortable. The living spaces transition effortlessly from a distinguished, beautifully furnished room to the sunny exterior patio without interruption. The villa's five bedrooms all offer sumptuous king-size beds and décor that imbues a palpable sense of serenity for the perfect night's sleep. The primary suite has that magical ocean view and a private terrace overlooking the garden and out to the bay beyond. The remaining bedrooms all have garden or pool views. With beguiling ensuites that use the best quality fixtures and copious amounts of marble tiling to complete the layout, this two-storey villa feels balanced and harmonious.
Outside, a large sun deck has plenty of extra-large loungers and a shaded area where you can spend the afternoon snoozing in the sunshine or engrossed in a bestseller.
