Wander up an enchanting tropical path, and discover the magical Villa Amaite, lying in glorious isolation in the middle of Soliman Bay, a beautiful part of Mexico just an hour's drive south of Cancun International Airport. Villa Amaite is set in a stunning beachfront location, with an extensive estate consisting of the main villa and separate casita that can accommodate up to 22 people in sublime comfort.

This specially commissioned villa is infused with the spirit of the Caribbean, with traditional colours and textures creating that distinctive, laid-back vibe. Minimalist décor allows the character of the villa to sing, with rich blues and tropical greens bringing the outside in. The main villa offers five king-size suites decorated in natural, soft tones with all the modern facilities you would expect, such as mini-fridges and wifi. The casita provides a further three queen-size bedrooms with exposed stonework detailing and a terrace to make the most of the magnificent sea views.

The palapa rooftop in the open-plan living area in the main villa adds a touch of authentic local detail. This upper loft area is filled with gloriously comfortable sofas for cosy chats over a glass of wine in the evening. The spacious kitchen comes complete with all amenities, including a personal chef and butler service. Outside, the pool and terrace merge seamlessly into the dazzlingly white sands of the private beach, where guests can make the most of the villa's kayaks and paddleboards. If you simply want to watch the sunset, head to the rooftop seating area with a cold beer or perhaps a margarita if you want to enjoy the local tequila.

Villa Amaite is just 20km from the historic town of Tulum, famous for its beaches and the hauntingly beautiful ruins of an ancient Mayan city. The villa puts you right in the heart of one of the most spectacular parts of the Yucatan Peninsula, where mangrove forests and azure cenotes beg to be explored.
