Tucked away on the Caribbean side of Isla Mujeres, Villa Encantada is a delightful six-bedroom complex that welcomes up to 14 guests. With a sweep of soft, white sand just a few steps from the terrace and ocean views that will take your breath away, it's a relaxed, bohemian enclave that promises peace with a dusting of opulence. This characterful villa has charm, perfectly balanced with contemporary touches to elevate it to a new level of excellence.

Isla Mujeres is a jewel that sits between the Gulf of Mexico and the warm Caribbean Sea. Once the haunt of pirates and privateers in the 17th century, today it’s a vibrant island renowned for its superb restaurants. Its biggest draw, however, is the remarkable and unique Cancún Underwater Museum, created by English sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor. This incredible installation sits off the western coast of the island. It's a life-affirming experience comprising 500 sculptures enhanced by the tranquillity of the clear blue water and abundant corals and plants.

Villa Encantada takes its inspiration from the Mediterranean villas of Santorini, with bright, whitewashed walls and a modernist twist on traditional styling. The interior is open-plan and fluid, flowing from the cool serenity of the living room and out onto the sunny terrace and pool area. Custom-designed Mexican pasta tiles add real vibrancy to the interior, balanced by white furniture and subtle touches to give the villa real character.

Three bedrooms offer king-size beds, two of which come with an additional single bed in the room, ideal for families travelling together. Two further bedrooms offer a set of twin beds, each and the final bedroom comes with three twin-size beds. All bedrooms boast panoramic balcony views of the ocean, and no-expense-spared elegance in the ensuites. Meanwhile, the beautiful kitchen is filled with every appliance you could wish for, and the dining space echoes the villa's sophisticated colour palette with feature lighting.
