A villa fit for its namesake, meaning house of the Mayan Sun God, Villa Kin Ich is a jaw-dropping sun-soaked getaway perched right on the beach in the exclusive gated community of Playacar. Whether it’s the stunning views over the aquamarine Caribbean Sea, the allures of powdery sands, or the bright and modern decor, it’s hard not to feel relaxed and rested here.

Contemporary and sleek, the interiors have been carefully laid out to ensure bright, spacious rooms that are perfect for socialising with your loved ones. Wind down on the lengthy living room sofa while watching a film on the large TV, or breathe in the fresh sea air from the outdoor living and dining area. Ensuring you’re never far from the sensational sea views, the kitchen looks out over the beach and offers all you need to whip up your favourite culinary creations — although if you want a rest from cooking, there’s also the option of a chef and butler.

Make the most of the sun from one of the many loungers lining the pool, before cooling off with a few lengths in the crystalline water. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas to choose from, including the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sea views while sipping on an ice-cold cocktail.

Sleeping up to 20 people, there are seven fully air-conditioned bedrooms at Villa Kin Ich. Five of the rooms feature king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms and their own terraces. Ideal for families, two rooms have multiple beds and sleep up to three people each, in addition to their own ensuite bathrooms and terraces.
