The city of Pisa is a pleasant 30-minute drive from Villa Palatium: here, you can marvel at the famous Leaning Tower, Piazza dei Miracoli, and the Camposanto. You’re deep within wine country, so be sure to ask your dedicated concierge to organise an afternoon of wine tasting at a local winery.

Sumptuous interiors await, with two delightfully light and airy living spaces ornately styled and cosy with plush cream sofas. The height of Italian elegance, a third living space is located by the indoor thermal salts heated pool, complete with archways and water features. The heart of this Italian home, the divine farmhouse-style kitchen is a melange of traditional and contemporary. Dine under twinkling chandeliers in the sophisticated dining room or in the glorious al fresco dining courtyard.

There are five bedrooms in the main villa; three are ensuite and house a double bed. One bedroom has a double bed, and the fifth has two twin-size beds - these two rooms share a bathroom. The annexe offers two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with two twin-size beds. Tranquil retreats, these bedrooms are filled with natural light, dressed with fine fabrics, and abundant with regal furnishings. Spa-style bathrooms augment these dazzling bedrooms.

The enchanting, manicured grounds boast peaceful mountain views, and whether you’re lounging by the private pool or snuggled up on one of the decadently furnished terraces, you’ll feel blissfully relaxed. Fire up the BBQ and wood-fired pizza oven in the outdoor kitchen and relish a wonderfully slow pace of life at Villa Palatium.
