Delightfully rustic and in that classic design that’s so instantly recognisable as Tuscan, Villa Valeria is a tranquil oasis in the middle of its very own valley. Surrounded by typically Italian ‘paintbrush’ trees and with a grandiose style that harks back to the 19th century, this seven-bedroom villa allows up to 13 guests to escape from the pressures of the outside world. Total seclusion doesn’t mean a lack of facilities, though, and this beautifully appointed villa makes the most of rich fabrics, warm, honey-coloured walls and natural features. This is a true Tuscan gem.

The seven bedrooms are split between the main building and the annexe, which started life as a hayloft but is now filled with fine furnishings. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with bath and double shower, while three more bedrooms in the main villa offer up king-size beds and their own ensuite facilities. The fifth bedroom in the villa has two twin beds and an ensuite with a bath only. Head over to the privacy of the annexe, and you'll find two more elegant bedrooms, one of which has a double bed while the other has a twin bed. You'll also find a private kitchen and living area in the annexe.

Back in the main villa, the drawing-room is the centre of attention, with a signature stone fireplace and plush furnishings that guests can sink into at the end of the day. The kitchen is typically Italian in design, with a central breakfast bar and all the appliances you need to cook culinary masterpieces.

A sunroom with a billiard table provides some relaxed entertainment, or you can head outside, where the large pool and terrace is the ultimate lazy, sunny spot for an afternoon laze. Or watch the stars come out in the jacuzzi as the evening light fades. The true beauty of this landscape lies in the soft Tuscan light that gives everything a golden sheen. Surrounded by vineyards and with pretty villages and medieval cities to explore, Villa Valeria is a Tuscan dream come true.

    • VOIP TelephoneA VOIP telephone (via Internet) is available. Calls are charged based on usage at the time of departure.Calls to landlines worldwide are very inexpensive, while calls to mobile phones in Italy and abroad may be more costly. Guests may request a printout of calls and related charges at any time.Mobile phone reception is generally good but may vary depending on the provider.Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
    • Cots and HighchairsA cot (with linen) and a highchair are available at the property. Both must be requested in advance.
    • CleaningThree hours of daily cleaning (Monday to Friday) are included.The villa must be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness. This includes stripping the beds, washing and putting away crockery and cutlery, emptying the dishwasher (if possible), emptying the fridge, cleaning the oven and barbecue, and disposing of all rubbish.If the property is not left in an acceptable condition, the owner or caretaker reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee at their discretion. The estimated cost would be charged to your debit or credit card, as authorised under the conditions of the Security Deposit.A cleaning lady will assist for one hour. Additional hours must be requested in advance through the hospitality manager and are charged at €30 per hour, to be paid locally.
    • House LinenBed linen, bathroom towels, and pool towels are provided free of charge. A weekly change is included on Saturdays.
    • HeatingThe property has central heating available from October through April.
    • Air ConditioningThe property is fully air-conditioned from May through September.
    • Pool HeatingThe pool can be heated to 26°C at an additional cost of €400 per week. This must be requested in advance through the hospitality manager and paid locally upon arrival.Please note that the pool cannot be covered at night, so the water temperature may be affected by outdoor weather conditions.
