Perched next to the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, the vibrant town of Tulum is a treasure trove of quirky independent stores, delicious traditional Mexican restaurants, friendly street-food vendors (the tacos are a must), and colourful street art. Dotted along the picturesque coast lie Tulum’s famous Mayan ruins - best explored with a local tour guide who can bring these sites to life. Just as captivating are the sparkling cenotes that pepper Tulum’s jungles, which make a truly magical spot to swim, snorkel, or scuba.

Yum Kaax boasts a blend of Mexican and Moroccan-style minimalistic design. Soaring ceilings and statement tiled floors ensure the grand open-concept living spaces at the villa make an impact. Guests are accommodated across eight beautifully unique suites, each infused with its personality, from airy and understated to bold and modern. Each bathroom shares a style story with its bedrooms and impresses with boutique fixtures and fittings. The Papaya Suite houses a king-size bed and twin beds (which can be arranged as a king-size). The Cacao and Caimito Suites both offer a king-size bed, while the Zapote and Pitaya Suites house a king-size bed that can be split into twins and a single bed. The Jicaro Suite features a king-size bed and a single bed, then the Ciruela and Nanche Suites offer twin beds that can be arranged as a king-size bed.
